Condolence: Maria and I worked together at Elberon and then at Morris Ave. School. She was my instructional assistant for at least 5 years. We worked together on her studies at Brookdale CC. After school we would read American Literature together. She helped me with the children who were just starting to learn English by speaking to them in Spanish in the beginning of the year. Then she always would talk to the Spanish speaking parents all year long. I would take her to the doctor and drop her off at the end of the day. She was a good friend and I will miss her.
