Wedding Crasher

A fond memory my wife and I have occasion to share... We planned a small, simple wedding on the beach; anticipating only 22 immediate family members in attendance (including us and minister). Not totally unexpected, several friends and coworkers arrived to view the event from the boardwalk- including Tom & Terrie! Following the ceremony we had a brunch reception at a nearby B&B. With brunch underway in walks Mrs. Tedino, tentatively followed by her husband who patiently waited at the door. As she entered the dining room all you could hear was "where is he?! Where is he?!" She came right up to me, pinched my cheek, hugged me and exclaimed "I wasn't going to miss this. Are you kidding me?!! You're like a son to me." Then she congratulated my wife, made small talk with the family and headed for the exit. Classic Esther!
