Obituary for Esther Tedino

Esther (nee Nardolilli) Tedino, 83, of Long Branch, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 30, 2015 surrounded by her children. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother and treasured grandmother.
Born on August 17, 1932 in Jersey City, Esther was the youngest daughter of Theresa and Benedetto Nardolilli. Esther married Rocco Tedino on June 29, 1952 and moved their family to Long Branch in 1965 where they raised their family. She was a school crossing guard for the Long Branch Police Department for 20 years before retiring. She was a communicant of Christ the King Parish of Holy Trinity Church in Long Branch. She was an active member of the Holy Trinity School PTA, the Rosary Altar Society and in her later years, the Seniors Club helping to organize their monthly trips to Atlantic City along with her husband, Rocco. Esther was predeceased by her husband, Rocco in 2009. Surviving are her children, Anthony and his wife Bonnie of Eatontown, Joseph and his wife Cynthia of Alexandria, VA, Thomas and his wife Criselda of Lawrenceville, and Theresa and her husband Jim Mahedy of Wall and 6 grandchildren, Alessandro, Rocco and Isabelle Tedino and Matthew, Megan and Christopher Mahedy.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 4-8 pm Sunday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 882 Broadway, West Long Branch. Funeral Mass will be offered at 10:30 am Monday at Holy Trinity Church in Long Branch. For condolences, please visit the memorial website at www.fiorefuneralhomes.com for condolences.
