Condolence: The story of Dorothy and Arnold is one of the greatest love stories I've ever heard of or read and the times I got to witness their extraordinary love for, and devotion to, each other it left me breathless. So rare, so inspiring, so beautiful. Through Arnold's and David's many anecdotes I learned about her love for her family and her constant attention to their wellbeing throughout her long and interesting life. To be in her presence was to experience her inherent sweetness and, on occasion, her mischievous side. There was often a definite sparkle in her eyes! I feel privileged to have met her: a great lady, a great life, and a great love. My heartfelt condolences and love go out to Arnold, Gail, Barton and Ken at this sad and difficult time. Sue

Condolence: As I reflect back on the many memories I have of time we have spent as I family I am filled with appreciation and admiration for Dorothy. She gave selflessly and joyously to our many family gatherings which were a cornerstone of our early family life. It is through this devotion I too feel the strength and security that comes from a strong loving family Dorothy's and Arnold's relationship is a great story of love and devotion. Arnold told me recently, “Every day I have with Dorothy is precious”. Regardless of the challenges they both faced during their 65+ years of marriage they always seemed to return to the admiration and love for each other and their family This focus on what is real and timeless has informed and enriched my life Our lives are fragile and transient. Everything changes Despite this, these memories will always be with me. Thank you Dorothy for giving me something that makes life so meaningful and transcendental. My Love, always

Condolence: So sorry to hear the sad news... I clearly remember how she welcomed me when I went to New Jersey with you, even it was more than 20 years ago... She was a very very cute and warm-heart mom. I truly thank her for treating me as if I'm the one of the family members. I'm so sorry again for not being able to go to New Jersey - let me send my prayers from Kyushu to New Jersey.

Condolence From: Alan and Judy Sherman
Condolence: Dear Arnold, Gail, Barton, and Kenneth. Judy and I are saddened to learn of the passing of Dorothy recently and our prayers are with the family. We received notification via email from Sandy and Dave and appreciated that very much. Arnold, I know how devoted you were to Dorothy having been to your home many times and of course to the Chaverim where she was a true supporter. We are in Florida and can not be present but please be comforted by the fact that our thoughts are with you and the family at moment in your lives. Judy and Alan Sherman
