Condolence From: Edward Pat Michael Anne Marie Thayer
Condolence: Dear Lil and Jimmy, Pat, our family & I were so saddened to hear of Bert's passing. Bert & I worked closely together at JCP&L for many years. Bert as Supervisor of Southern Area Joint Use Dept. and I as Supervisor of Southern Area Engineering. I know he had a lot to do with my advancement from a young Engineer at Union Beach, to Bay Division Engineer, & then to Supervisor of South Area Engineering. I told him how appreciative I was for all his kindness & help. He was one of a kind- loyal, truthful, kind, cheerful, & honest. Traits of a good supervisor and person. My staff and I always got along nicely with him. Kenny Halgring & Mel Halsey, Bert and I were a great combination: all working together. A good friend! I will miss him. I'm sorry Pat & I will not be able to attend Bert's Memorial Service as we will be working at Monmouth Park Race Track. God Bless, Ed, Pat, Michael & Anne Marie Thayer
