Obituary for Gay Shaw

Gay H. Shaw, 84, of Oakhurst, Ocean Township, passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2016.
She was born and raised in Newark before moving to Oakhurst in 1955. She graduated from St. Vincent Academy in Newark and Berkeley College. She was a member of St. Vincent Academy Alumna Association, Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus #335 in Long Branch and a member of the Rosary Altar Society and a communicant of St. Jerome Roman Catholic Church in West Long Branch.
She was predeceased by her husband, Russell in 1994; her parents, Ralph and Helen Fucci and a brother, Jim Ferris.
Surviving are her daughters, Helen and her husband Joseph Veizer and Ginger and her husband Rick Silvey; brother, Charles Fucci and 3 grandsons, Russell, David and Daniel and his wife Katy Cline and many cousins and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 2-4 & 7-9 pm Friday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 236 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst, Ocean Township. Funeral Mass will be offered at 11:30 am Saturday at St. Jerome’s Church in West Long Branch followed by entombment at Woodbine Mausoleum in Oceanport.
