Walter J. Burns, Jr., 77, of Highlands, died Tuesday, June 3, 2014.

He was born and raised in Elizabeth and lived in Manhattan before moving to Highlands 25 years ago.

He was an actor, director, producer and entrepreneur in the theater.

He was predeceased by his parents, Walter and Marie Burns and his Robert Burns.

Surviving are his partner of 44 years, Maurice Roberson of Highlands and his beloved sister, Patricia Burns Manhattan.
