W. Dennis Hansen, 66, of Long Branch, died Thursday, August 18, 2011 at St. Barnabas Hospice and palliative Care Center, Long Branch. He was born in Neptune and Sea Girt and Spring Lake before moving to Long Branch 9 years ago.
He owned Hansen Flooring in Belmar from 1968 to 1974 and then became a self-employed sales rep before retiring. He was a member of the Wall Township Kiwanis.
He was predeceased by his parents, Walter and Mary Hansen.
Surviving is his wife, Carol DiDomenico Hansen; daughters, Danielle Hansen of South Carolina and Jennifer and her husband, Travis Johnson of Lincroft; 2 sisters, and a granddaughter, Scarlett Mae Johnson.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 4 to 6 pm Saturday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 882 Broadway, West Long Branch. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Michael's Feat, Box 787, Matawan, NJ 07747
