Vincenza Spadone, 91, of Oceanport, died Sunday, January 15, 2012 at home.
She was born in Bari, Italy where she lived until moving to Queens, NY. She moved to Oceanport 15 years ago.
She was a communicant of the Christ the King Parish, Long Branch and she enjoyed watching soap operas, the NY Yankees and spending time with her family whom she adored.
She was predeceased by her husband, Luigi in 1988, her daughter, Rina Spadone in 1997, her parents Chiara and Vito Ressa and a brother and 3 sisters, Vincenzo Ressa, Giovanna D'Alesio, Maria Spadone and Lina Ressa.

Surviving are her children, Maria Osso and her husband Frank, Joann Ventre and her husband Paul and Frank Spadone and his wife Barbara; 8 grandchildren, Robert, Frankie, Gracie, Sandra, Joey, Louie, Cathy and Louie and 4 great-grandchildren, Samantha, Paulie, Olivia and Michael.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 2-4 & 7-9 pm Tuesday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 882 Broadway, West Long Branch. Funeral 8:30 am Wednesday from the funeral home followed by a 9:30 am Funeral Mass at Holy Trinity Church, Long Branch. Entombment will follow at St. Michael's Cemetery, Astoria, NY.
