Steven Torman, 81, of Long Branch, died Sunday, March 16, 2014 at home.

He was born in Jersey City and lived in Long Branch the past 14 years. He served in the US Army and was a postal worker for the US Postal Service in Secaucus before retiring. He was active in Jersey City sports clubs and the Giants International League.

Predeceased by his parents, Paul and Eva Torman and 2 brothers, Nick an George Torman.

Surviving are his sister, Mary B. Torman and sister-in-law, Liz Torman; nieces and nephews, Paul and Gail Torman, Louis Torman, Cheryl and Joseph Cilento, Diane Torman and her fiancé Anthony and Elaine and Vincent Corbi; 3 great nephews and 4 great nieces.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Sunday, April 27, 2014 at Kimisis Tis Theotokou Greek Orthodox Church, Holmdel. Arrangements are by the Fiore Funeral Home, West Long Branch.
