Stephen P. Bonforte, 55, died June 12, 2012 in his home in West End, Long Branch. Born March 17, 1957 in Long Branch, Stephen was a lifelong resident of the shore area and was graduated from Ocean Township High School in 1975. Stephen was a former volunteer firefighter at the Deal Fire Department. Member of the Sprinkler Fitters Union local 669 since 2002. Stephen was a popular bartender at Mr. Blu's in Deal, NJ and many other local establishments. As an avid fisherman, Stephen could often be found fishing off the beaches of Long Branch. Stephen is survived by his brothers Ronald, West Long Branch, Joseph, Oakhurst, Karen, Asbury Park, Cynthia, Cranford, and many nieces and nephews by whom he was adored.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 11 am until 2 pm with Words of Remembrance starting at 1:30 pm Saturday, June 16 at the Fiore Funeral Home, 236 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst, Ocean Township. Please visit www.fiorefuneralhomes.com for condolences.
