Simeon V. Canullas, 90, of Ocean Township, died Monday, December 3, 2012 at home.

He was born in Pangasinan, Philippines and came here in 1985.

He was a mechanical supervisor in the mining business in the Philippines before retiring. He was a communicant of St. Dorothea's Roman Catholic Church, Eatontown.

He was predeceased by his daughter, Luz Benzon, grandson, Tim Gabaldan and son-in-law, Harry Sztybel and his parents, Alfonso and Ursula Canullas.

Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Pacita Bautista Canullas; his children, Sam Canullas, Jr. (Ging), Elvie Sztybel, Elma Montano (Romeo), Mila Sy (Allen), Rey Canullas (Vicky), Lanny Gabaldon (Jun), Robert Canullas (Tess) and Dan Canullas (Imelda); brother, Francisco Canullas, Sr., and 22 grandchildren, Shonny, Sean, Sharleen, Joanna, Jennifer, Jeanette, Ronnie, Stephanie, Kevin, Krilyn, Jeffrey, Milarose, Rachelle, Hannah, Jensine, Michelle, Lyka, Angelo, Michael, Marx, Milanie and Guz and 8 great-grandchildren, Alexis, Nina, Jaelyn, Richard, Ethan, Iris, Tyler, Halle, Jordan and Arianna.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 3-8 pm Thursday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 236 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst, Ocean Township. Funeral Mass will be offered at 10 am at St. Dorothea's Church, Eatontown followed by burial at Woodbine Cemetery, Oceanport.
