Obituary for Santina Gagliano

Santina Gagliano, 94, of West Long Branch, died Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at Monmouth Care Center in Long Branch.
She was born and raised in Newark and lived in South Plainfield, Oceanport, Long Branch and West Long Branch.
She was a communicant of St. Michael’s and Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Churches in Long Branch and retired as a seamstress and dressmaker. She was a member of the Deborah Long Branch Chapter.
She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony in 1991; her parents, Luigi and Ann Biancone and 5 brothers.
Surviving are her son, Salvatore and his wife Susan Gagliano of Toms River; ; sister, Maryann Acerra of West Long Branch; granddaughter, Toni Walls, grandson-in-law, Roy and 4 great-grandchildren, Shayne, Jalen, Ethan and Lola.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 7-9 pm Tuesday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 882 Broadway, West Long Branch. Please gather at church for her Funeral Mass at 10 am Wednesday at St. Michael’s Church in Long Branch. Burial will follow at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery in Arneytown. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 1311 Mamaroneck Avenue, Suite 310
