He was born in New York .



He was self-employed in the construction business in California







Surviving are his wife, Carmen Bautista; mother, Andrea and her husband Miguel Melendez; father, Santiago Rivera, Sr. and his wife Hilda Oliveras; daughters, Jasaira Rivera; step-children, Gustavo Negron and Susana Coronel; sisters, Sonia Soto, Jeannette Rivera and Marilyn Diaz and his nieces and nephews.







Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 4-8 pm Friday with a service during the evening hours and from 10 am until 11 am Saturday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 882 Broadway, West Long Branch. Burial will follow at Woodbine Cemetery, Oceanport.
