Ruth M. Schultz, 86, of Tinton Falls, died Thursday at St. Barnabas Hospice and Palliative Care Center, Long Branch.
She was born in East New York and lived in Brooklyn before moving to Tinton Falls 25 years ago. She was a secretary for Deloitte & Touche in New York for many years before retiring. She also was a state deputy secretary for the American Legion Auxiliary. She was a communicant of St. Anselm's Roman Catholic Church, Wayside and a member of the Monmouth County SPCA, Eatontown.
She was predeceased by her parents, Harry & Wanda Schultz.
Surviving are her sister, Miriam Addonisio of Brooklyn and her nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews and her cousin, Mela Ebel.
Relatives and friends are invited her Memorial Mass at 10 am on Saturday, January 29 at St. Anselm's Church, 1028 Wayside Road, Wayside. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in her memory to the Monmouth County SPCA, Wall Street, Eatontown, NJ 07724.
