Robert C. Hill, Jr., 64, a lifelong resident of Long Branch, died Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at home.

He donated his time for the Holy Name Society and the Long Branch Recreation by playing the part of Santa Claus for many years.

He was predeceased by his parents, Robert C. and Jean Perri Hill.

Surviving are his wife, Michelina Prevete Hill; children, Robert C. Hill III, Carmella Hill Parenti, Jean Hill-Fields and Anthony G. Hill; brothers, Joseph and Michael Hill, sisters, Mary Jo Hill O'Neal and Angela Hill Snider and 9 grandchildren, Nicole, Marie JoAnn, Samantha and Amaya Hill, Anthony Hill II, Emory R. Fields III, Angelina Fields, Matthew Hill and Isabella Fields.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 7-9 pm Friday at Fiore Funeral Home, 882 Broadway, West Long Branch. Funeral Mass will be offered at 10 am Saturday at Holy Trinity Church, Long Branch. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be to Michelina Hill
