Obituary for Paul T Manganelli

Paul T. Manganelli 68, of Oakhurst, Ocean Township, died Thursday, September 25, 2014 at home.
He was born in Jersey City and lived in West New York and Brick before moving to Oakhurst 45 years ago.

He retired earlier this year as the owner of a used car dealership in Asbury Park. He enjoyed sports, fishing, reading, running and biking and was a communicant of St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church in West End, Long Branch. He served in the US Army reserves. He was a friend of Bill Wilson for the past 36 years and a graduate of Monmouth College with a bachelor degree in Political Science.

He was predeceased by his son, Jamie in September 2013 and his sister-in-law, Elissa Pardee last month.

Surviving are his wife, Kathy; daughter, Jennifer Weisman; 3 grandchildren Pauline, Lilly and Maggie; his parents, Paul and Gilda Manganelli; 3 brothers, Steven, Mark and David and his wife Agnes Manganelli; brother-in-law, Roger Pardee and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 2-4 & 7-9 pm Sunday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 236 Monmouth Road in Oakhurst, Ocean Township. Funeral Mass will be offered at 10 am Monday at St. Michael’s Church in West End, Long Branch. Burial will follow at Woodbine Cemetery in Oceanport.
