Patricia M. Sottilare, 69, of Ocean Township, died Sunday, February 13, 2011 at home after a 14 year courageous battle with breast cancer.
She was born in Jersey City and lived in South Plainfield for 35 years before moving to Whiting in 2007. She moved to Ocean in August of 2010.
Mrs. Sottilare was an accounts payable manager for Delaire Nursing Home in Linden for 18 years before retiring in 2010.
She was a communicant of St. Anselm's Roman Catholic Church, Wayside and a former communicant of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, South Plainfield and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Roman Catholic Church, Whiting.
She was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Helen Reinoehl.

Surviving are her husband of 48 Â½ years, William A. Sottilare; 2 daughters, Denise P. Sottilare and her husband Peter Waeschle of Westfield and Charlene M. Sottilare-Dyson and her husband Raymond Dyson of Oakhurst, her grandson, Tony Gratta of Oakhurst and grand dogs, Winchester and Buddy.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 8:30 am to 10:30 am Thursday at Fiore Funeral Home, 236 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst, NJ. Funeral Mass will follow at 11 am at St. Anselm's Church, Wayside. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Middletown. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, 785 Springfield Avenue, Summit, NJ 07901 or to St. Peter's University Medical Center Oncology Unit, 254 Easton Avenue, New Brunswick, NJ 08901.
