Mary Jo Gallo, 58, of West Long Branch, died Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at Barnabas Health Hospice Center, Long Branch.
She was born in Long Branch and was a lifelong resident of West Long Branch.
She was an environmental scientist for the Township of Ocean Sewerage Authority for the past 28 years. She was a graduate of Shore Regional High School in West Long Branch and graduated with a BS from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Florham Park.

Surviving are her son, Dominick and his wife Nicole Mazza of Wanamassa; her parents, Joseph and Vera Gallo of West Long Branch; her brother, Joseph and his wife Nancy Gallo of West Long Branch; her nephew, Joseph Gallo of Hoboken; her niece, Samantha Gallo of West Long Branch; her companion, Fredrick Baker of West Long Branch; and a grandson, Nicholas Joseph Mazza.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 2-6 pm Saturday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 236 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst. There will be a funeral service at 3 pm.
