Obituary for Mark H. Wheeler

Mark H. Wheeler, 86, US Army (Retired), of Oakhurst, Ocean Township, died
Thursday, March 5, 2015. He was born in Mark, Mississippi and lived in Oakhurst
since 1973. He retired as a Staff Sergeant in 1972 after 25 years of service
with the United States Army. He served in WW II and Korea. After retiring, he
worked at Fort Monmouth from 1979 until retiring in 1999. He was a member of the
Ocean Township Friendship Club and mason in South Carolina.
surviving are his
wife of 57 years, Soon Ei Kim Wheeler; children, Brenda Caswell of Tinton Falls
and John and his wife Michelle Wheeler; 4 grandchildren, Kristina, Mark, Ashley
and John; and a great grandson, David.
Relatives and friends are invited to
visit from 1-3 pm Saturday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 882 Broadway, West Long
Branch. Burial will be at the Brig. General WC Doyle Veterans Cemetery in
Armeytown.
