Lois M. Squillante, 85, entered eternal life on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 with her family by her side. She was born in Fair Haven and went to schools there and in Long Branch. She worked at Fort Monmouth during WW II and went on to manage Bond Cleaners in Long Branch in the 1950's. She was blessed by family and many good friends that she had throughout her lifetime. She was a communicant of Christ the King Parish in Long Branch. Lois was a longtime member of the Ladies Auxiliary of West Long Branch Fire Company #2 and the West Long Branch Leisure Club.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Thomas “Bright” Squillante in 2006, her parents, Elizabeth and Theodore Soden and her brother, Theodore (Ted) Soden.

Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Carole and John Connor and the light of her life, her grandson Johnny all of West Long Branch and many nieces, nephews and wonderful friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 4 to 8 pm Friday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 882 Broadway, West Long Branch. Funeral 8:30 am Saturday from the funeral home followed by a 9:30 am Funeral Mass at Holy Trinity Church, Long Branch. Burial will be at Woodbine Cemetery, Oceanport. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the West Long Branch First Aid Squad.
