Lewis James Beisser, 49, known as Guru, of Long Branch, died Sunday, April 3 at home.

He was born in New Brunswick and lived Highland Park before moving to Long Branch.

He was a supervisor for Finishing Touch in West Long Branch since 1991. He was a sports enthusiast and a Dallas Cowboy fan.

He was predeceased by his mother, Peggy in 1998 and his brother John in 1978.

Surviving are his wife, Michelle Miller Beisser; his father, John Beisser of Long Branch; brother, James Beisser and a sister, Janice Beisser both of Union Beach and 2 nephews, Austin and RJ Beisser his mother-in-law, Ann Miller, father-in-law, Joe Miller and aunt, Barbara Schibell all of Long Branch.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 2-4 & 7-9 pm Wednesday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 882 Broadway, West Long Branch. Funeral service will be held at 9:30 am Thursday at the funeral home followed by burial at Franklin Memorial Park, North Brusnwick. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to offset medical expenses to Michelle Beisser, c/o Ann Miller, 301 Hillside Avenue, Long Branch, NJ 07740.
