Kenneth Smith, Jr., 68, of Eatontown, NJ died on Friday, March 25, 2011 at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. He was a proprietor of Ken Smith Lawn Service in Eatontown for over 30 years. He was an Ex- Chief, Exempt & Life-member of the Eatontown Fire Dept serving as Chief of Department in 1975; Exempt & Life-member of the Eatontown First Aid Squad; Member of the VFW Post in Oceanport, NJ. He was a veteran of the Viet Nam War serving in the US Navy on the USS Forrestal out of Norfolk, VA. Born in Jamaica, Queens, New York and was a life-long resident of Eatontown, NJ.

He is survived by his wife, Donna L. Hill Smith; one son, Chuck K. & wife Ruthann Smith, of Melbourne, Fla and three grandchildren. He was predeceased by his mother, Helen Wolf Smith. Relatives & friends are invited to call at the Fiore Funeral Home, 882 Broadway, West Long Branch, NJ on Tuesday, 2- 4 & 7- 9 PM. Fire Dept. & Religious services will take place Tuesday evening at 7:30 PM at the funeral home. Interment services are private and at the convenience of the family.
