Karen M. McGuire, 47, of Eatontown, died Monday, September 3, 2012 at Barnabas Health Hospice, Long Branch.

She was born in Long Branch and grew up in Elberon before moving to Eatontown 6 years ago.

She was the aquatics manager at CentraState Wellness and Fitness Center in Freehold. She was a member of the Elberon and Long Branch First Aid Squads and the Eatontown Elks Ladies Auxiliary.

She was predeceased by her parents, Walter and Mary Richter and her first husband, William Holcraft in 2005.

Surviving are her husband, James McGuire; daughter, Krista Richter; brothers, Donnie and his wife, Mary Lou Richter and Wally and his wife Lynne Richter and her dog, Julia.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 3-5 pm Saturday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 882 Broadway, West Long Branch. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Kick Cancer Overboard, 45 Atlantic Avenue, Long Branch, NJ 07740. Please visit www.fiorefuneralhomes.com
