Obituary for Joyce D. Tesoriero

Joyce Tesoriero, 62, of West Long Branch, passed away Thursday, March 12, 2015, at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch. Joy was born in Long Branch and grew up in West Long Branch and lived in Connecticut for 25 years before returning back to NJ. She was a graduate of Shore Regional High School in West Long Branch and FIT, where she developed her tremendous talent for art, fashion and design. She created her own clothing line in New York called Jump for Joy. Her passion for cooking soon overruled and she will forever be known as the master chef of our family. Joy was also an avid traveler and reader. She was adored by everyone she met and her beautiful spirit will be with us forever.
Joy was predeceased by her parents, Ann and Joseph Tesoriero.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Ali Saslafsky of Vermont, her sister and brother-in-law, Patty and Michael Abrams of West Long Branch, her two nieces, Lisa Gold and her husband Jason and their children, Juliet and Jack of New York City and Jessica Olson and her daughter, Riley of Oakhurst.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Sunday from 1:30 pm until her funeral service at 2:30 pm at Fiore Funeral Home, 236 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst, Ocean Township.
