John Warren, Jr., 86, a former resident of Yorktown Heights, NY, died on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Sunrise Senior Living in Lincroft. He was born on the 5th of February 1928 in Newport News, VA to the late John Warren, Sr. and Lula Diggs Warren.
He retired as a chief engineer after 41 years from the US Merchant Marines and served with the US Coast Guard during WW II.

He was predeceased by his wife, Helen, his son, Harry S. Warren and his parents.

Surviving are his children: son, John Warren III and his wife Antoinette of Long Branch, daughter, Shirley and her husband Robert Eck of Lebanon, PA and son, William W. Warren, Sr. of Long Branch; 2 grandchildren, William W. Warren, Jr. and Mosel and her husband Rodney Royer of Lititz, PA and 3 great grandchildren, Jazmine, Christian and Jonathan.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Friday from 10 am until his funeral service at 12 noon at the Fiore Funeral Home, 882 Broadway, West Long Branch. For condolences, please visit www.fiorefuneralhomes.com.
