John was born in New Brunswick. He was truck driver for Local #72, Perth Amboy.
John was predeceased by his parents, James and Lorena Bussey Middleton.
Surviving are his children, Glennis Lester and Gale Bonner; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren
Visitation will be from 9 am until his funeral service at 10:30 am at Providence Baptist Church, 49 Kennedy Avenue, Cliffwood. Burial will follow at Forest Green Cemetery, Morganville. Please visit www.fiorefuneralhomes.com for condolences
