John C. Beisser, 73, “Jack Hill” of Long Branch died Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune.

He was born in New Brunswick and lived Highland Park before moving to Long Branch.

He was an entertainer and played in the Jack Hill Trio playing along the eastern seaboard. He was a school bus driver for Laidlaw for 13 years before retiring.

He was predeceased by his wife, Peggy in 1998 and his sons, John in 1978 and Lewis in 2011 and his parents, John and Ruth Beisser.

Surviving are a son, James A. Beisser and a daughter, Janice R. Beisser Conover both of Union Beach; daughter-in-law, Michelle Beisser; brother, James and his wife Jewel Beisser; 2 grandchildren, Austin and RJ and nieces and nephews and extended family as well as his cat, Tiggerpooh.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 2-4 & 7-9 pm Friday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 882 Broadway, West Long Branch. Funeral service will be held at 9:15 am Saturday at the funeral home followed by burial at Franklin Memorial Park, North Brusnwick. Please visit www.fiorefuneralhomes.com
