John Andrew Batcho, 53, of Ocean Township, died Monday, October 3, 2011 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born in NJ and lived in Manville before moving to Ocean Township.
He worked for Electro Impulse in Neptune for the past 32 years.
He served in the US Army and was a lifelong runner, running 5 miles day. He enjoyed sports, car racing as well as horseracing.
He was predeceased by his mother, Gloria Jean Batcho Regeic.

Surviving are his children, Rosemary Danback, Kyle Batcho, Celia Batcho-Szieber, Corey and Derrick Batcho and Evan Bonardi; 2 brothers, Robert Batcho and Jason Regeic and 2 grandchildren, Jake Gilbert and Reese Danback.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 2-4 & 7-9 pm Thursday at Fiore Funeral Home, 236 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst, Ocean Township. Funeral Mass will be offered at 10 am Friday at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church of Christ the King Parish, Long Branch. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 801 Broad Street, Shrewsbury, NJ 07702
