John J. Barney, 60, of Long Branch, died Monday, January 21, 2013.
He was born in Long Branch and lived in Oceanport before moving to Long Branch.
He was a graduate of Shore Regional High School in West Long Branch.

Surviving are his parents, Anthony and Theresa Dellera Barney; brother, Anthony and his wife Ruby; sister, Mary Lou; nephew, Anthony and his wife Kim; niece, Danielle and her fiancé Michael Paraskevis.
