Isabel Perez, 89, passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune, NJ.
Isabel was born in Jovellanos, Cuba on November 19, 1923 to Maximina and Antonio Fernandez. She immigrated to the United States in 1969 with her husband, Juan, and their four sons.
Isabel will be lovingly remembered for her friendly and compassionate nature and her great sense of humor.
She was happiest when looking at old photographs, surrounded by family.
She is survived by her sisters Teresa Tapia, and Elsa Rodriguez, her brother Miguel, and her four sons, Lazaro, Jose, Jorge and Orlando as well as six grandchildren: John, Genevieve, Michael, Grace, Bianca and Emily and two great-granchildren, Ava and Juliana.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Jerome's School, 254 Wall Street, West Long Branch, NJ 07764.
