Helen Riddle, 80, of West Long Branch, died Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch.
She was born in Belmar and lived there and in Eatontown for 30 years before moving to West Long Branch 15 years ago.
She was a candy maker for Criterion Chocolates in Eatontown for 15 years before retiring in 1985.
She was predeceased by her son-in-law, Thomas Emmons and her parents, Grover and Emma Cox and 5 brothers, Albert, Harry, John, George and Charles Cox.
Surviving are her husband of 63 years, Henry; son, David and his wife Barbara Riddle of Cliffwood Beach, daughter, Sharon of West Long Branch; sister, Marie Cox Morgan Miller of Brick and brother, Whitfield Cox of Florida; 5 grandchildren, Scott, Melissa Emmons, Lydia, Sandy and David Riddle, Jr. and 5 great-grandchildren, Casey, Olivia, Andrea, Julian and Logan.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 1-5 pm Sunday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 882 Broadway, West Long Branch.
