Hedwig W. Boyd, 82, of Long Branch, died Thursday, August 22, 2013 at Barnabas Health Hospice and Palliative Care Center in Long Branch.



Born in Nuremberg, Germany she came to Long Branch 48 years ago.







She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Babette Neubauer and her companion, Guillermo Torres.



She is survived by her sons, Herbert Boyd of Eatontown and Victor and his wife Susan Boyd of Oceanport; sister, Gertraud and her husband Heinrich Sporrer of Germany; 5 grandchildren, Josef, Ryan Lauren, Megan and Amanda and 2 great-grandchildren, Madison and Jaiden.







Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 2-5 pm Sunday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 882 Broadway, West Long Branch. Funeral Mass will be offered at 9:30 am Monday at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch. Burial will follow at Glenwood Cemetery, West Long Branch.
