Hazel C. Acquavella, 62, of Belmar, died Thursday, February 23, 2012 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune.

She was born and raised in Neptune and lived in Wall before moving to Belmar 30 years ago.

She was a communicant of St. Rose Roman Catholic Church, Belmar and a member of the Rosary Altar Society. She was a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Harold Daley VFW Post 1333, Asbury Park and helped co-found Parents of Hearing Impaired Children.

She worked as a unit secretary at Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune.

She was predeceased by her parents, Harold and Ella Hall.



Surviving are her husband, Donald; 3 daughters, Donna Marie, Elizabeth Ann and Mary Grace Acquavella; 2 brothers, Harold C. Hall, Jr. and Raymond A. Hall; 4 sisters, Edna May Rinaldi, Nancy Kubosh, Carol Ann Read and Lena Marie Hall and many nieces and nephews.



Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 2-4 & 7-9 pm Monday at the McDonough Funeral Home 732-681-1113 (located at the Fiore Funeral Home) 236 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst, Ocean Township. Funeral Mass will be offered at 10 am Tuesday at St. Rose Church, Belmar. Burial will follow at St. Anne's Cemetery, Wall. Please visit www.fiorefuneralhomes.com for condolences.
