Gerald W. Devine, 86, of Neptune City, died Friday, April 5, 2013 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune.

He was born in Philadelphia and lived there and in Point Pleasant before moving to Wanamassa, Ocean Township in 1966. He moved to Neptune City in 2008.



He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the Wall Township Elks.



He worked at JF Kiely Construction Company in Long Branch for many years before retiring.

He was predeceased by his wife, Dorothea, his parents, Thomas and Adele Devine his brother, Charles Devine.

Surviving are his step-daughter, Barbara James; sister, Kathleen Ott; brothers, Martin and Thomas Devine; nieces and nephews and 7 step-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to his service at 10 am Wednesday at Monmouth Memorial Park Mausoleum, Tinton Falls. Entombment will follow. For condolences, please visit www.fiorefuneralhomes.com
