Obituary for George F. "Murph" Clark

George F. “Murph” Clark, 89, of Eatontown, died Thursday, October 8, 2015 at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch.
He was born in Newark and lived most of his life in Maplewood before moving to Eatontown 5 years ago.
He was a communicant of St. Dorothea’s Roman Catholic Church in Eatontown and served in UN Navy during World War II. He received the American Theater, Victory, Asiatic Pacific and the European Theater Medals.
He was a warehouseman at Westinghouse Electric in Newark for 30 years before retiring in 1985.
Murph was predeceased by his parents, George and Gertrude Clark and sisters, Ruth Happle, Rita Mahon and Gertrude Moriarty.
Surviving are his sister, Gail Clark of Eatontown; brother, William Clark of Florida and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Mass at 11 am Monday at St. Dorothea’s Church in Eatontown. For condolences, please visit the memorial website at www.fiorefuneralhomes.com
