Frank Minervini, Jr., 60, of Buena Vista, died Saturday, February 18, 2012.



He was born in Jersey City and lived in Las Vegas for 15 years before moving to Buena Vista 10 years ago.



Prior to working in the casino business, Frank worked as a jockey and later as a trainer. He was well known in the racing industry including Monmouth Park Racetrack, Oceanport.



He was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Catherine Minervini.



Surviving are his wife, Peggy; his children, Jessie and her husband Drew Steiger, Jack, Greg and Joe Minervini; 2 brothers, Julius and his wife Jean Minervini and Alfred and his wife Debbie Minervini; 2 sisters, Annette Case and Gabrielle Minervini and Fernando Hepburn; mother-in-law, Roberta Kulesz; grandson, Kaden; brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Sharon Kulesz, Bob and Lizzie Kulesz, Tom and Angie Kulesz and Mary and Cliff Williams.



Relatives and friends are invited to visit from noon to 2 pm Saturday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 882 Broadway, West Long Branch.
