Eva Schoninger, 106, of Asbury Park, died Monday, April 11, 2011 at home.
She was born in Newark and lived in Deal before moving to Asbury Park in 1999.
She was a former member of Temple Beth Miriam in Elberon.
Mrs. Schoninger was predeceased by her husband, Bernard in 1979 and her daughter, Jane Schoninger in 2009.
Surviving are her granddaughters, Wendie Schwartz Acevedo and her husband Ivan of San Diego,CA and Amie Schwartz Drahos and her husband Martin of Long Valley; 4 great-grandchildren; niece, Anita Bergin of Tinton Falls and other nieces and a nephew.
Funeral service and burial will be private.
