Doris Ozorowski, 84, of Highlands, died Friday, November 11, 2011 at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. Doris burst into this world on August 15, 1927 and it was never the same. She was a homemaker who was well known for her beautiful special occasion cakes. She had a boisterous personality that lit up the room. She didn't just enter a room, she made an entrance. She was a stylish dresser with perfectly matching accessories. She loved parties and her favorite pastime was spending time with her little dog “Baby” and shopping on QVC. She had many friends most of whom she helped throughout the years. She will be missed by all.
She was predeceased by her husband, Stanley, her parents, Nicholas and Cecilia Vitaris, brothers, Richard and Nicholas and sister, Meta.
Surviving are her loving daughter, Pam Drotar and 2 wonderful grandsons, Robbie and Scotty.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 11 am to 1 pm and attend services at 12:30 pm Saturday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 882 Broadway, West Long Branch. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Easter Seals, 1841 B Route 35 S, South Amboy, NJ 08879 or the Monmouth County SPCA, 260 Wall Street, Eatontown, NJ 07724.
