Dolores L. Saxe, 82, of West Orange, died Saturday, December 8, 2012 at her home.



She was born in Newark and lived in East Orange before moving to West Orange in 1976.





She was predeceased by her husband, Robert P. Saxe in 1975 and her parents, Pietro and Mary Lardieri.



Surviving are her daughters, Marilyn Ann Saxe and Judith Marie Saxe; 2 sisters, Josephine Lardieri and Sue Flannery Ege; brother Peter and Diane Lardieri and many devoted nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.



Dolores worked for Newark Board of Education before dedicating herself to being a full time mother and homemaker – a job she considered most important and lovingly fulfilled. Dolores filled her life with family and friends. She loved celebrations and caring for others. In later years, she worked at Allewan Church Service in East Orange.



Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at 9:30 am Tuesday at Notre Dame Roman Catholic Church, North Caldwell. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dolores' memory may be made to:
