Obituary for Danae Roshan Little

Danae Roshan Little, 32, of Long Branch departed this world on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch.
Danae was born in New York to Hermeta and Richard Little and was a member of St. James’ Episcopal Church in Long Branch. She attended King’s Kids in West Long Branch, Deal School in Deal and graduated High Tech High School and a cheerleader for Long Branch High School. She attended the College of New Jersey where she received a BA in Education and Psychology. She taught in the Long Branch School System for the past 10 years. She played the flute and the piano.

Surviving are her parents, Hermeta and Richard Little; brother, Richard H. Little; sister, Leila Little; grandmother, Gertrude Benjamin; aunts, Evon and Valerie and uncle, Walter and a host of family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 5-7 pm Friday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 236 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst and on Saturday from 10 am until her funeral service at 11 am at St. James’ Episcopal Church, 300 Broadway, Long Branch. Additional visitation will be held on Monday from 10 am until 11am at the J. Foster Phillips Funeral Home, 179-24 Linden Blvd., Jamaica, NY followed by burial at Maple Grove Cemetery in Kew Gardens, NY.
