Chris Nicolaou, 65, of Ocean Township, died Monday, February 20, 2012 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune.

He was born in Yerolakos, Cypress and came to this country when he was 3 living in Jersey City before moving to Ocean 40 years ago.

He was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church, Asbury Park and enjoyed golfing, fishing, sports and the beach.

He was a former owner of the Dolphin Restaurant in Ocean Grove for 10 years. After that, he went into the real estate business for 15 years.

He was predeceased by his parents, Peter and Eleni Nicolaou.

Surviving are his wife Georgia Kallerges Nicolaou; his sons, Peter of Ocean and Niko of Montclair; his brother Nick and his dog, Jake.



Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 2-4 & 7-9 pm Thursday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 236 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst, Ocean Township. Funeral service will be held at 11 am Friday at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 700 Grand Avenue, Asbury Park, NJ 07712. Burial will follow at St. George Greek Orthodox Cemetery, Neptune.
