Catherine Joann Scalzo, 78, of Long Branch, passed away peacefully Thursday, October 10, 2013 at Barnabas Health Hospice in Long Branch.
She was born in Colorado Springs, CO and lived in Long Branch most of her life. She was a very generous and loving person and loved animals.

She was predeceased her husband, Anthony in 2007, her son, John in 2008 and her parents, Leonard and Alvina Vitettoe Lee.
Surviving are her children, Mary Beth and her husband Larry Olivadoti, Sr., Thomas and Patty Scalzo, Steven (Petey) and Arlene Scalzo, Anthony Scalzo, Jr., Michael (Mickey) and Joyce Scalzo and Joseph Scalzo. Also surviving are 18 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She also leaves her sister, Gladys and her husband Thomas Bilotta and 2 brothers, David Lee and Ronnie Lee.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 2-4 pm Tuesday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 882 Broadway, West Long Branch.
