Catherine Abahazy, 93, of Lakewood, died Friday, July 5, 2013.
She was born in St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada and lived in Perth Amboy, Cliffwood, Middletown and Florida before moving to Lakewood 25 years ago.
She was a cook at the MediCenter in Lakewood for 22 years before retiring.
She was predeceased by her husband, William in 1996; her son, Donald in 2013; her parents, Phillip and Ann Kinsella and her brothers and sisters.
She was a loving mother and grandmother to are her children, Elizabeth & Joe and William and Gloria; 3 brothers, Phillip, Edward and Gus Kinsella; 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 6 to 8 pm Wednesday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 236 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst, Ocean Township. There will be a Memorial Mass at a later date of St. Clement's Roman Catholic Church in Matawan. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Deborah Hospital Foundation, Browns Mills, NJ.
