AGE 88, West Long Branch

Carney S. Paduano, 88, of West Long Branch, passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at St. Barnabas Hospice and Palliative Care Center, Long Branch.
Born in Long Branch he lived in West Long Branch since 1953.
He worked in electronics at Fort Monmouth for 34 years before retiring in 1980 and was an owner of Car Jo Motors in West Long Branch. He also worked as a contractor for Vitronics in Eatontown.
He was a communicant of St. Jerome Roman Catholic Church, West Long Branch. He was an Army veteran of WW II and a member of the NARFE, AARP and the DAV.
Mr. Paduano was predeceased by his wife of 61 years, Carmela Petrero Paduano in 2008; his parents, Louis and Anna Scott Paduano; 2 brothers, Anthony & Joseph Paduano and 3 sisters, Carmella Penta, Jennie Anfuso and Katherine Celli.
Surviving are his children, Louis Paduano of Orlando, FL, Patricia and her husband Robert Potter and Susan Paduano all of Eatontown; 3 sisters, Cecilia LaMorte of Oceanport, Minnie Siciliano and her husband Thomas of Long Branch and Louise Dellera of Oceanport and 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 2-5 pm Sunday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 882 Broadway, West Long Branch. Funeral 9 am Monday from the funeral home followed by a 10 am Funeral Mass at St. Jerome Church, West Long Branch. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, West Long Branch.
