Barbara R. Cook, 88, of Oakhurst, Ocean Township, died Sunday, May 13, 2012 at Community Medical Center, Toms River.

She was born in Long Branch and lived in Oakhurst since 1969.

She was a communicant of Christ the King Parish of Holy Trinity Church, Long Branch.

Barbara was predeceased by her husband, Lester V. Cook, Sr. in 1992, her son, Jeffrey P. Cook in 2005 her parents, John and Mary Migliaccio Frontera; sisters, Pauline Frontera and Catherine Anastasia and her brother, Paul Frontera.



Surviving are her son, Lester V. Cook, Jr. and his wife Mary Ann; sister, Helen Frontera of Long Branch and sister-in-law, Angie Frontera of West Long Branch; 3 grandchildren, Lester James Cook, Peter Scalamoni and Jennifer Myslinski and 3 great-grandchildren, LJ Cook and Peter and Molly Myslinski.



Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 2-4 & 7-9 pm Thursday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 236 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst. Funeral 9 am Friday from the funeral home followed by a 10 am Funeral Mass at Holy Trinity Church, Long Branch. Entombment will be at Monmouth Memorial Park Mausoleum, Tinton Falls.
