Arthur R. Rose, 71, of Long Branch, died Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch

He was born in Fort Monmouth and lived in North Jersey before moving to Long Branch in 1975.

He worked for Stavola Contracting in Tinton Falls for 30 years before retiring in 2008. He was a US Coast Guard veteran. He enjoyed riding his Harley.

Predeceased by his wife, Lee Kane Rose in 1997; his parents, John and Susan Rose and a daughter, Marne Luciano.

Surviving are his children, Robert and his wife Mary Rose, Melissa and her husband Ken Frabizio, Michelle and her husband John Pavao, son-in-law, Bob Luciano; close special friend, Day Ford; brothers, Thomas and John Rose; 6 grandchildren, Nicholas and Michael Luciano, Madison and Tyler Pavao, Holly Teufel and Brendan Rose and 2 great grandchildren, Josh and Ella.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 7-9 pm Monday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 882 Broadway, West Long Branch.
