Anthony D'Acunzi, 52, of Wanamassa, Ocean Township, died Friday at home.

He was born in Newark and lived in Oceanport and Wanamassa.

He retired in 2001 as an owner of Vesuvio Restaurant in Atlantic Highlands after 30 years.

He was predeceased by his parents, Consolato and Ines Santopietro D'Acunzi.

Surviving are his sisters and brother, Vincent, Michelina and Anna D'Acunzi and Maria Constanos and his girlfriend on 14 years, Sharon VanMater, son, Daniel and 2 nephews, Leonard Constanos and Anthony D'Acunzi and 2 nieces, Alexandra and Noelle D'Acunzi.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 7-9 pm Monday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 236 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst. Funeral Mass will be offered at 9:30 am Tuesday at Holy Trinity Church, Long Branch followed by entombment at Woodbine Mausoleum, Oceanport.
