Ann Margaret Carroll born on May 30, 1942 passed away on April 26, 2011 surrounded by her family at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch, NJ. Born and raised in Jersey City, NJ, Ann married Francis Carroll in 1963. A longtime resident of Toms River, Ann retired from the Ocean County Library after twenty five years and moved with her husband of 48 years to Hobe Sound, Florida. An avid reader with a quick wit and sense of humor, Ann enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. discussing current events and politics, and reading at the beach.

A member of the First United Methodist Church of Hobe Sound, Ann will be sadly missed by her loving family. Surviving are her husband, Francis J Carroll and children David F.Carroll, Judith Ann Mayo, Janice Lynn Reading; daughter-in-law Louise Campi Carroll; sons-in-law William Mayo and Corey Reading; and grandchildren Taylor Reading, Alex Mayo, Daniel Mayo, and Louise Anne Carroll.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 2-5 pm Friday and attend services at 4:30 pm at the Fiore Funeral Home, 236 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ASPCA, Wall Street, Eatontown, NJ 07724.
