Adeline Penta, 71, of Long Branch, died Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch.
She was born in Cicala, Italy and came to Long Branch in 1961.
She worked as a seamstress at Remco Manufacturing in Long Branch for 20 years before retiring in 1987. She was a communicant of Christ the King Parish of Holy Trinity Church, Long Branch.
She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Luigina Vincelli.

Surviving are her husband of 47 years, Leonardo; her children, Ginevra Zungri of West Long Branch, Adriana and her husband Ralph DeFillipo of Tinton Falls and Anthony and his wife Danielle Penta of Bayville; her brother, Thomas Vincelli of Long Branch and 8 grandchildren, Anthony, Thomas and Michael Zungri, Alyssa DeFillipo, Shawn Vosper and Christopher, Anthony and Christian Penta.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 4 to 8 pm Sunday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 882 Broadway, West Long Branch. Funeral service will be held at 10 am Monday at the funeral home followed by entombment at Woodbine Mausoleum, Oceanport. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Jacqueline M.
